What’s the position?

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Omni Activation Director to lead the development and execution of strategic, multi-channel activation plans that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution—designed for a leader who can see the big picture, build the roadmap, and lead a team to bring it to life.

You’ll be an integral leader in creating a comprehensive activation strategy that aligns with key moments in the sports and entertainment calendar, ensuring our brand shows up in the right place, at the right time, with the right message. This includes a mix of large-scale events, localized activations, and integrated partner campaigns across multiple dates and geographies.

You’ll also lead and mentor an activation team, guiding them in the execution of each initiative to ensure flawless delivery and measurable performance. A critical part of your success will be leveraging our land-based partners’ physical assets, locations, and audiences to extend reach, lower CPA, and deliver high-impact results.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a strategic operator who can turn insights into action and lead cross-functional teams toward shared success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the end-to-end development and execution of annual and seasonal activation plans; mapping out activation opportunities, designing experiences that minimize CPA, and mobilizing cross-functional teams and external partners to bring each plan to life.
  • Develop activation strategies and tactics to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Leverage key sports and entertainment moments to maximize customer connection and relevance.
  • Identify, prioritize, and scope activation opportunities that leverage key sports and entertainment moments. A core pillar of this role is the strategic use of our land-based partner assets—leveraging their venues, platforms, and customer access to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for all stakeholders involved.
  • Ensure seamless integration of activation efforts with broader integrated marketing strategies and promotions.

Performance Optimization

  • Establish KPIs for each activation and implement a robust measurement framework to evaluate impact and ROI.
  • Continuously evaluate what's working and what isn’t, adjusting plans as needed to maximize results.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead and mentor a team of activation managers and specialists, fostering growth, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Promote a data-driven, collaborative culture that encourages experimentation and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • 8–10+ years in marketing, brand activation, or event management — preferably in sports, gaming, media, or entertainment.
  • A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and knows how to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Confluence, Asana) and workflows.
  • Expert communicator with exceptional organizational skills — you can move from strategy to details seamlessly.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making data-informed decisions under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative mindset, and a deep desire to learn, innovate, and make an impact.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders and aggressive timelines.
  • Flexibility with schedules and ability to travel when needed.
  • The ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs.
