Job Summary

We’re looking for a high-performing  Executive Chef to lead a large-scale corporate café and a growing on- and off-site catering operation. This role is responsible for a robust food service program spanning 11 unique stations , supported by 3 sous chefs and a full purchasing team.

The operation runs primarily  Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM , with select evening catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of daily foodservice operations and catering execution across all outlets
• Plan and execute menus in line with company standards and client expectations
• Ensure consistent food quality through standardized recipes, portioning, and plating
• Lead, train, and develop culinary staff in preparation, food safety, sanitation, and equipment use
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment schedules in line with regulatory standards
• Manage inventory and purchasing to control costs and ensure product availability
• Optimize use of leftover product within company guidelines
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and safety protocols
• Participate in client engagement, team meetings, and professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Strong catering background and experience with high-volume foodservice operations
• Institutional or batch cooking experience a plus
• Hands-on, team-oriented culinary leadership style
• In-depth knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and kitchen systems
• ServSafe certified, or willing to become certified
