Job Description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Certified Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join a leading Company located in the Santa Monica, CA surrounding area.

Salary: $85,000 to $110,000

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the complete accounting cycle for various entities and bank accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting other departments as needed.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the trial balance
• Monitor and report on cash flows
• Generate accurate financial statements for multipleentities
• Prepare source documents and schedules for corporate tax returns
• Process corporate year-end closing activities
• Maintain and organize a comprehensive filing system
• Prepare detailed schedules for internal and external reporting
• Communicate effectively with managers and vendors
• Assist other departments with financial data and reporting as needed

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bookkeeping certification (required)
• Experience within the Entertainment Fielda plus
• Proven experience managing multi-entity bookkeeping
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and complex formulas
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity
• Confidentiality is required for this role
• 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Prefer coming from entertainmentindustry

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with accounting software i.e Zenith, QuickBooks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
