Dana Points first luxury Barbershop is seeking to fill multiple positions.\

The Sunken Lantern Barbershop will provide an upscale grooming experience with an emphasis on customer satisfaction while upholding the craft of Traditional Barbering. \

We are seeking licensed barbers or cosmetologists in search for a FULL TIME position. \
\
We are also seeking experienced hair braiders for a FULL TIME position! NO LICENSE NECESSARY! California has no licensing requirements for hair braiders. You do not need a cosmetology license or specialty hair braiding license to work in this field.\
\
For anyone wishing to apply for any position please have the following ready:\
\
(Barbers and Cosmos) Must have at least 3 years experience working with a license in your field. Must have a valid license. \
(Braiders) Must have at least 3 years experience.\
(To All) Must have at least some existing clientele. \
(To All) Must have either a portfolio of your work or an active social media page which showcases recent work or a personal collection of your work to share with us both for hiring purposes and in case of a hire for us to use to promote what you will be bringing to the shop.\
(To All) Must be ready to start by grand opening day and prepared to ensure the safety of our clients.\

Please have any professional references or personal client references ready that you may wish to share with us, (screenshots of former 5 star reviews from clients on yelp.)\
\
We will be charging Barbers a commission based rent for at least the first six months with a 30%-70% split on services rendered, you keep 100% of your tips! We will be charging Cosmetologist 60%-40% split. You keep all your tips. \
\
While on commission, Drops are to be made daily at the end of the business day. \
You can switch to chair rent as soon as you feel ready even if its sooner than six months! After the first six months you will be moved to chair rent at $350 a week. If more time is needed before switching to chair rent we will have an evaluation to explore further commission based rent options. \
\
