Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Nutritionist to join our esteemed medical practice, committed to providing exceptional healthcare and wellness services to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in nutrition and dietary management to assess patients' nutritional needs, develop individualized meal plans, and provide education on the importance of balanced nutrition in achieving optimal health outcomes. As a key member of our healthcare team, the Nutritionist will collaborate closely with physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver dietary recommendations tailored to each patient's unique health conditions, preferences, and lifestyle choices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patients' nutritional needs and dietary habits through comprehensive interviews and assessments.
  • Develop individualized nutrition plans tailored to patients' specific health conditions, lifestyles, and personal goals.
  • Provide dietary counseling and education to patients and their families regarding nutritional choices and healthy eating practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutritional advice into overall patient care plans and medical treatments.
  • Monitor and track patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans based on health improvements or changes.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to educate the community about nutrition, healthy cooking, and lifestyle choices.
  • Stay current with the latest research and trends in nutrition science to provide evidence-based recommendations and high-quality care.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential or equivalent certification is required.
  • Proven experience as a Nutritionist or similar role within a medical or clinical environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex nutritional information to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team and engage with patients empathetically.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate records.
