This remote job is for a Physical/Occupational Therapist Assistant who is looking for an opportunity to use their license in a role that does not involve direct patient care in a clinic setting. A Clinician Case Owner manages worker's compensation therapy cases for our clients. As the owner of the case, they are responsible for scheduling the patient's initial visit with a company preferred provider anywhere in the country, providing authorization paperwork to the provider, following up on the injured worker's attendance throughout the life-cycle of the therapy case, keeping the adjuster and/or nurse case manager updated on the injured worker's status in therapy from start to finish and ensure the injured worker has the best possible outcome in the therapy they are participating in. The Clinician Case Owners work in tandem with another company therapist who performs clinical reviews of the documentation provided by the treating therapists, who also conducts peer-to-peer reviews of those cases when needed.

Responsibilities:

• The Clinician Case Owners are responsible for owning and managing around 120 cases at a time, which is done in a task-based CRM system.
• Multi-tasking, attention to detail, time management, professional written and verbal communication, goal-driven, and clinical/critical thinking are all a must.

Qualifications:

• Current PTA/OTA license in good standing with at least 5 years of outpatient therapy experience treating workers' compensation patients.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
