Our client, a leading organization in the biotechnology sector, is seeking a Research Associate to join their team. As a Research Associate, you will be part of the R&D department supporting various teams in their innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully with the organization's goals. **Job Title:** Research Associate **Location:** Temecula, CA **Duration:** 12+ Months contract **What's the Job?** + Evaluate affinity and specificity of antibodies in immunoassays including western blots, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. + Perform purifications of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies to support immunoassay development and manufacturing needs. + Conduct analyses required to demonstrate quality and competency of antibody preparations. + Help manage inventories of polyclonal antibodies, monoclonal antibodies, cell lines, tissue sections, and test reagents. + Keep organized and updated records of analyses. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor of Science degree with 1-3 years of related experience. + Experience or interest in immunoassay techniques, cell culture, tissue sectioning, cryosectioning, microscopy, and flow cytometry. + Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. + Prefer some background in protein/peptide chemistry and protein purification. + Strong organizational skills required for efficient data management. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. + Gain experience in advanced research techniques and methodologies. + Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. + Contribute to meaningful projects that impact the biotechnology field. + Professional growth and development opportunities.
