About The Role As a US Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will manage a team of contract accounts performing centralized Accounts Receivable Billing, collections and cash application located in Poland. You will lead efforts around process improvements and standardizations of procedures. Provide metrics that can be used to direct the flow of AR activities and identify process improvement activities. Ensure financial controls and daily operations within the receivables process are designed and operating and are SOX compliant.
You will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and work in either our Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC locations. Hybrid Work Schedule.
Key Responsibilities - Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable Lead to ensure daily accounts receivable processes and systems are being completed.
- Lead a professional staff including creating team goals, monitoring of assigned tasks, providing real-time feedback and development, and performance evaluations.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and communicate invoice processing issues and recommended solutions to relevant parties such as US Manager, Commercial Integration, Project Managers, Account Teams to ensure that AR processing issues are addressed.
- Manage key performance indicators. Identify and plan improvements.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to identify performance or personnel productivity trends.
- Seek ways to improve the process and maximize efficiency.
- Provide direction to Accounts Receivable associates on how to resolve issues, prioritize work, and with external and internal customers.
- Oversee internal and external audit activities, ownership of controls assessment compliance reporting, ensure compliance with established procedures of Westinghouse.
- Lead weekly Accounts Receivable team meetings to support operations and make improvements in daily operating processes.
- Understand and be able to perform the tasks of the Contract Accountant and Cash Application Accounts Receivable staff.
- Help with AR related projects as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree preferred.
- 5+ years relevant experience processing complex Accounts Receivable billings and experience managing direct reports
- ERP & Financial Reporting Software Experience: SAP preferred
- Technical accounting skills (theory and application)
