The primary objective of this Act is to closely monitor the working conditions of laborers. The BOCW Safety Committee is responsible for the following duties:
- To provide recipients with immediate assistance in the case of an accident.
- To pay pensions to people who are old enough to retire.
- To approve advances and loans to recipients for the construction of homes while abiding by certain conditions and limitations.
- Must pay out a suitable amount in connection with the beneficiaries' group insurance plan.
- To provide recipients' children the necessary financial aid for their schooling.
